2. We believe that there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
3. We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His
miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily
resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His personal return in
power and glory.
4. We believe in the forgiveness of sin, the resurrection of the body and the life everlasting.
5. We believe in the spiritual unity of believers in our Lord Jesus Christ.

The purpose of Keryx is Christianize the correctional institution through the apostolic action of the inmate members of reunion groups. Everything we do should contributory to getting the candidates to a group.
It is only in being willing to become vulnerable to the candidates that the members of the team will be able to love them and to be loved by them. There is simply no real love without vulnerability. As the groups develop trust and begin to make themselves vulnerable to one another, the love grows and this love becomes the leaven in that community, and the seeds of this love are spread across the institution by the breath of the Holy Spirit. In this way Christ Christianizes the compound.
Throughout team meetings we constantly remind members of the team to remember the 4 L’s. The 4 L’s are the most important things we do during the weekend. They are Listen, Listen, Love, Love. Team members cannot be reminded too frequently of the importance of the 4 L’s.
All team members must be grouping and actively worshipping in their own religious community. The purpose of Keryx is to create group reunions that can Christianize the compound. Inmates can do this. Outsiders can’t. Team members should also understand that they are accepting a commitment to attend monthly Ultreyas, as often as humanly possible, for 12 months after a Keryx.
